Dual Illumination

The MTB4095 is equipped with a warm light that is capable of activating at night when triggered by motion. This warm light casts a strong beam over a large area providing a floodlight effect. Activated when humans or vehicles are present, can drastically improve the quality of video you capture for human and vehicle events, leading to more effective subject identification. The MTB4095 also features 100ft of IR LED nightvision, infrared light allows the camera to see through the dark and is invisible to the human eye.

Part of the Lunar 2.0 series, the MTB4095 records at 2K or 4MP resolution at 20 frames per second with a 95° field of view. It performs many abilities like dual illumination, color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, for audio recording, and features like SMD , perimeter protection, and smart search.

1TB Included Storage

The MNR8040 package comes with a 1TB hard drive, however the NVR is capable of hosting up to a 16TB hard drive. H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265 recording which enables the NVR to conserve more by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.

The MTB4095 has a slot for a micro SD card. These is useful for acting as backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drive within, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.

Artificial Intelligence

The MTB4095 camera has built-in artificial intelligence abilities. Each camera is capable of performing perimeter protection, , H.265 recording, and smart search which works together with the NVR to comb through recorded footage to find any instances of vehicles or humans in view of the camera. uses digital tripwires to guard specific areas and SMD accurately detects humans and vehicles within the entire view.

SMD

is a significant step-up from standard smart motion detect. With a 98% accuracy rate and increased recognition distance than standard SMD, SMD is sure to impress with its performance. Built directly into the MTB4095 camera, this uses onboard AI to perform recognition abilities to determine if motion happening on camera is human or vehicle, this helps prevent false notifications and ensures the smart dual illumination activates only when necessary.

Remote Connectivity

Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.
