The 8 channel NVR has one hard drive bay that supports up to 16TB of storage capacity on a SATA III hard drive. Supports AI by camera: Face detection, SMD, and SMD smart search by vehicle and human. 1x HDMI for high definiton 4K output and 1x VGA for 1080p output, supports multi-screen viewing with up to 8 channels live on screen.

Smart Dual Illumination

The employs which activates on motion and deploys a warm light, this provides extra active deterrence while also giving the camera more light to better view the area. This feature can also be useful for simply illuminating dark areas as a small floodlight. MTB8111-AI-SMD-DI

Part of the Lunar 3.0 series, the MTB8111 records at 4K or 8MP resolution at 20 frames per second with a 111° field of view. It performs many abilities like dual illumination, color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, for audio recording, and features like SMD , perimeter protection, and smart search.

2TB Included Storage

The package comes with a 2TB hard drive, however the NVR is capable of hosting up to a 16TB hard drive. H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265 recording which enables the NVR to conserve more by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.

The MTB8111 has a slot for a micro SD card. These is useful for acting as backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drive within, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.

SMD

SMD is a significant step-up from standard smart motion detect. With a 98% accuracy rate and increased recognition distance than standard SMD, SMD is sure to impress with its performance. Built directly into the MTB8111 camera, this uses onboard AI to perform recognition abilities to determine if motion happening on camera is human or vehicle, this helps prevent false notifications and ensures the dual illumination activates only when necessary.

Artificial Intelligence
